The Otters continue to build their roster by adding five more players from the D-II level. The group comes from schools in Tennessee, North Carolina, and West Virginia.

The Otters continue to have a strong connection with Ohio Valley University by adding attacking midfielder Alex Horveno. Horveno appeared in 25 games and scored three goals. The Frenchman also recorded 16 assists, which was tied for third most in Division II and finished top ten in assists per game. Horveno played a key piece in the Fighting Scots run to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament.

In the midfield, Stuart Hendry coms to Johnson City from Wingate University. With the Bulldogs, Hendry just completed his junior season where he appeared in fifteen games with five starts, including the last three of the season. The Australian scored his second career goal this season and recorded 13 shots. Hendry started in the midfield in the Otters preseason game against Asheville City SC and was signed following a good showing.

Christoph Willemsen played two seasons at Lincoln Memorial as a centerback. Willemsen started all 33 games during his time in Harrogate, Tennessee. He was named to the All-SAC Second Team during his junior season. Willemsen also showed an ability to score by adding two goals this past season. Willemsen was another player that came to the Otters open tryout and impressed coaches to earn a spot on the 2019 roster.

The Brazilian fullback played his first three seasons with Saint Andrews University of the NAIA before finishing his career with the Railsplitters. With St. Andrews, Henry played in 52 games, scoring seven goals and twelve assists. Henry made 12 appearances this past season at LMU and impressed in the exhibition against Asheville City SC to become a full member of the Otters this season.

The final addition of this group is midfielder Miguel Vilas. The Louisiana native played his first two years for the Union University Bulldogs in the NAIA.
