The Otters have returned to the South Atlantic division after one season in the Deep South Division. They will play the typical 14-game schedule against a mostly new slate of opponents.
The Otters will play their first game of the season on Saturday, May 18th on the road against new expansion team Wake FC in Wake County, NC. The following Saturday, the Otters will travel to Greensboro, NC to take on the Carolina Dynamo.
The Otters will play their home opener the following Tuesday, May 28th against Lionsbridge FC at Kermit-Tipton Stadium. That game will be followed by five more consecutive home games throughout the month of June for the Otters.
The following Tuesday, June 4th, the Otters will face the North Carolina FC U-23s at 7 PM. On June 8th the Otters will have their first Saturday home game of the season when they face the Carolina Dynamo for the second of three times. A week later on June 15th, the Otters will welcome Wake FC into Kermit-Tipton Stadium.
Tobacco Road FC (June 18th) and Virginia Beach United (June 22nd) will close out the Otters first homestand of the season.
June 25th the Otters head back on the road to face the Carolina Dynamo for the final time this season. On Friday, the Otters will head to Cary, NC and play the NCFC U-23s one more time.
In July, the Otters start the month by traveling to Virginia Beach on July 1st before playing Lionsbridge FC two days later in Newport News, Virginia.
The final week of the season will see the Otters play their final regular season home game Tuesday, July 9th against Tobacco Road FC before travelling to Durham on Saturday, July 13th to face Tobacco Road again.
